Is Colby Covington jaw broken?

Colby Covington’s fight with Kamaru Usman left him with several injuries. It was one of the toughest fights he has ever fought as a UFC fighter. During their second bout, he suffered a jaw injury that made people ridicule him for quite some time, however, he denied that he ever sustained a jaw injury. He also broke his leg and left the medical tent on crutches.

According to the examination by the UFC medical staff after the fight, it was reported that he suffered a ‘non-displaced midline mandible fracture, but Covington died during an interview.

“Nothing was broken. The only broken thing that was broken was Marty’s pride that night because he doesn’t want to run his back in round two and he got forced to,” Covington said.

Even though he denied publicly that he did not break his jaw, he reportedly told his cornermen that he died.

“I think I broke my jaw,” he said.
