Carlos Correa is not playing because he has withdrawn from World Baseball Classic 2023. The Minnesota Twins shortstop will be sitting out the World Baseball Classic due to family reasons.

Carlos Correa opened 2012 by being selected the MVP in the Víctor Pellot Excellence Tournament. In 24 games with the Fresno Grizzlies of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League, Carlos Correa hit .276/.345/.449 in 98 at-bats with three home runs and 12 RBIs.
