Is Candace Cameron Bure married to a Russian?

Candace Cameron Bure is an American actress, producer and talk show panellist. Candace Cameron Bure is married to former Russian Ice Hockey player Valeri Bure. They have been together for more than 20 years.

Cameron married Valeri Bure, a Russian NHL hockey player, on June 22, 1996. Her Full House co-star Dave Coulier first introduced the couple at a charity hockey game.

They have two sons and a daughter. Natasha Bure, their daughter, competed in season 11 of The Voice at the age of 18  and portrayed a younger version of her mother’s lead character in the final Aurora Teagarden Mystery.

Maksim, their son, graduated in May 2021 from Northstar Christian Academy in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Pavel Bure,  the brother of Valeri who is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, is Cameron’s brother-in-law.

Valeri played ten seasons in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens and was traded as 4th round draft pick in February 1988 to the Calgary Flames.
