Cameron Norrie is a South African-born British professional tennis player. Norrie was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1995 to a Scottish father from Glasgow and a Welsh mother, both of whom were microbiologists.

He moved to London when he was 16 years old and lived there for three years before attending Texas Christian University in Fort Worth from 2014 to 2017.

In June 2017, he graduated from TCU to compete on the 2017 ATP Tour’s grass courts.

Norrie achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 10 on 4 April 2022 and a doubles ranking of No. 123. on 23 August 2021.

He has four ATP Tour singles titles and one doubles title including a Masters 1000 title at the 2021 Indian Wells Masters. Since October 18, 2021, Norrie has been the current British No. 1 in men’s singles.
