What will the Borderlands movie be about?
The film follows Lilith as she travels to her home Pandora to find the daughter of Atlas. Along the way, she forms an allegiance with a group of misfits, to “battle an alien species and dangerous bandits to uncover one of Pandora’s most explosive secrets,” per the official synopsis from Lionsgate.
Based on the game series by the same name, Borderlands tells the story of alien outlaw Lilith (Cate Blanchett), a wanted woman from the planet Pandora who returns to her homeworld in search of a fabled vault rumored to be filled with invaluable treasures.
