Drake Stoops’s father, Robert “Bob” Anthony Stoops is an American football coach who was the head football coach at the University of Oklahoma from 1999 through the 2016 season. Drake was raised alongside two siblings.

Drake Stoops’ sister, Mackenzie, attends the University of Oklahoma. He has a twin brother named Isaac Stoops. Drake went to Norman North High School. He was rated as a three-star recruit according to 247Sports and Rivals.com.

As a recruit, 247Sports.com ranked Drake Stoops 1475th nationally, 217th as a wide receiver, and the 19th best football prospect in OK for the class of 2018.
