Anita and Babyface announced their tour just before Thanksgiving 2022. They kick off the tour in Hollywood, Florida on February 11, 2023, coming to Chicago near the end of June and ending in Oakland on December 23, 2023.

Why Did Anita Baker Leave Chapter 8?

Anita Baker joined the group and they released an album with Ariola Records in 1979. Soon after the album’s release, however, Ariola Records was bought by Arista Records, who decided to drop Chapter 8 because they were unimpressed with Baker’s vocals and believed she lacked star-quality.
