Andre Agassi was married to Brooke Shields. They started dating in 1993 and were married in 1997. Their marriage, however, lasted only two years, and the couple divorced in 1999.

Brooke Shields revealed that her ex-husband Andre Agassi’s “irrational” behavior led to their emotional separation. One of the primary causes of their divorce was the athlete’s substance abuse issues.

Brooke Shields claimed in an interview with The New Yorker that Agassi once “smashed” all of his tennis trophies in anger after watching Brooke Shields tape her episode of “Friends,” where she guest-starred as an obsessive fan of Joey Tribbiani who licked his hands while on a date.

Shields was cast in the title role of the NBC sitcom Suddenly Susan, in which she starred from 1996 until 2000.  Since 2013, Brooke Shields has been an occasional guest co-host on the 9:00 hour of Today on NBC.

Brooke Shields voiced Beverly Goodman in the Adult Swim animated series Mr. Pickles (2014–2019) and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff.
