Dominican model and actress, Amelia Vega, Vega is the niece-in-law of Dominican singer and record producer, Juan Luis Guerra.

Amelia attended the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School in Santo Domingo.
She was crowned the Miss Dominican Republic in 2002 and won the crown as Miss Universe in 2003.
She starred in the movies Homie Spumoni (2006) and The Lost City (2005).
Amelia released her single “Pasa Un Segundito” on iTunes in 2010 and in 2011, she released her album “Agua Dulce”, which was a hit across Puerto Rico, Ecuador, Panama, and the Dominican Republic.
