Irina-Camelia Begu is a Romanian professional tennis player who has won four singles titles and nine doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She has also won one singles title on the WTA 125K series, as well as 12 singles and 19 doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.

Begu made her singles ITF Junior Circuit debut at the Grade-4 Wilson ITF Junior Classic in Salzburg in January 2005.
In March 2005, Begu made her doubles debut at the Grade-3 Trofeul D Sturdza in Moldova. She won one singles and three doubles title in total on the ITF junior tour.
Is Begu married? Currently, Begu is not married. But it is worthy to note that there are records of her being involved in past relationships.

Begu made her ITF Women’s Circuit debut at a $10K event at Bucharest in May 2005 and a year later, thus, in September 2006, she reached her first ITF final at Bucharest, but lost to Alexandra Cadanțu.
A year after the excruciating defeat to Cadantu, Begu won her first ITF title at Brașov, defeating Andreea Mitu in the final.
In October 2008, Begu won her first major ITF title at the $50K event in Jounieh, defeating Anastasiya Yakimova in the final.
