However, he decided to represent Ghana in August 2022 and made his debut for the Black Stars a month later.

He stated, “I would never have imagined this. I had to make a decision and I don’t regret being able to represent the country of my parents and my family, to go back to my origins, to be able to travel more and see my loved ones in Ghana.”

Inaki acknowledged that things did not go as well as hoped, but he believes that the decision has helped him on a sporting and personal level. He credits this decision for his current success, stating, “In fact, I think I’m in one of my best moments thanks to this decision.”

Inaki continues to perform well for Bilbao, scoring 11 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions and providing five assists while playing on the wings.

His success for Bilbao demonstrates the positive impact of his decision to represent Ghana.
