Lovejoy actor Ian McShane was born to his parents, Harry McShane and Irene McShane.

Harry Mcshane
Harry McShane was a Scottish footballet who played as a winger for the Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Manchester United, Oldham Athletic, Chorley, Wellington Town, and Droylsden.
He had recorded 20 goals in 207 league games and clinched the First Division title with Manchester United.
Harry passed away in 2012, after battling Alzheimer’s disease.
Irene Mcshane
McShane’s mother, Irene, was born in 1921 and has lived for a century. She celebrated her 100th birthday in 2021.

McShane was born and raised in Davyhulme, Lancashire. He attended Stretford Grammar School before continuing his education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts.
In addition to the television shows Wuthering Heights, Jesus of Nazareth, and Disraeli, he starred in the movies Deadwood, American Gods, Sky West, Crooked, and Battle of Britain.
