Ian Happ is a professional baseball player who currently plays for the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball (MLB). Ian Happ and his girlfriend Julie Mazur got engaged in May 2022.

His girlfriend Julie Mazur studied organisational leadership through communication at Illinois State University, according to The Focus.
After receiving her degree, she worked for Target as an executive team leader in human resources until she was promoted to the Highland Park location.
Julie began working as a learning and development professional for DHR Global, a business consulting firm, later in the year. In January 2021, she began working as their global learning and development manager.

Ian Happ was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the first round (ninth overall) of the 2015 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut with the Cubs on May 13, 2017, and has been a member of the team ever since.
In 2022, Happ finished the season with a career-high 158 games played, hitting .271/.342/.440 with 17 home runs, 72 RBIs, 72 runs, and 42 doubles. He made his first All-Star game and on defence won a Gold Glove Award in left field.
