Ian Garry is a mixed martial artist who fights in the Welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Born on November 17, 1997, in Portmarnock, Ireland, Garry completed his amateur career within a year of making his debut, with six wins and one loss by decision.

He made his professional debut in 2019 at Cage Warriors 101, and defeated James Sheehan via unanimous decision.

Garry won four fights in a row. After facing UFC champions Rostem Akman and Jack Grant at different times, he emerged the Cage Warriors Welterweight Champion.

In 2021, Garry signed a contract with the UFC, and made his promotional debut in the same year against Jordan Williams.

On August 19, 2023, Garry was scheduled to face Geoff Neal at UFC 292, but he withdrew on health grounds and was replaced by Neil Magny.

Garry currently ranks number 13 in the UFC welterweight rankings.
