Ann Skelly was born in Dublin and moved as a toddler to County Wexford, first to Ballycanew, then to Oylegate, and finally to Kilmuckridge.
She attended Coláiste Brde in Enniscorthy and was homeschooled for her Leaving Certificate. As a teen, she attended weekend acting workshops at the Irish Film Academy. She later attended Bow Street Academy and graduated in 2017.
