Gloria Rodríguez best known by her stage name Hurricane G, an American rapper of Puerto Rican descent who died on Sunday, Nov. 6 at age 52.

She died leaving behind her daughter Lexus who revealed earlier in May that her mother had been diagnosed with lung cancer.
In a post on social media, Lexus wrote:
“My mom has stage 4 lung cancer.
“I dont know how many of you understand what that means but even after 30 years of life Im still trying to process it myself.
“I have never cried so much in my life I have never felt so disconnected from reality.

Lexus’ mother gained much fame follwing her 1997 single release “Somebody Else,” which charted at #10 by Billboard Magazine on Hot Rap Singles, and at #54 on their Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
She’s also known for appearing on Redman’s 1992 hit “Tonight’s da Night.”
She followed it another Redman song, “Dare Iz a Darkside,” in 1994 while collaborating with Xzibit on the track “At the Speed of Life” before releasing her debut album, All Woman, in 1997.
Her second album Mami & Papi with Thirstin Howl III was released in 2013.
