Gloria Rodríguez best known by her stage name Hurricane G, an American rapper of Puerto Rican descent has died.

What was Hurricane G’s cause of death? A cause of death is yet to be revealed.
However, in May Hurricane’s daughter Lexus revealed that her mother (Hurricane) was diagnosed with lung cancer.
Lexus wrote;

My mom has stage 4 lung cancer.

I dont know how many of you understand what that means but even after 30 years of life Im still trying to process it myself. I have never cried so much in my life I have never felt so disconnected from reality in my life.”
Hurricane G shot to fame following her 1997 single release “Somebody Else,” which charted at #10 by Billboard Magazine on Hot Rap Singles, and at #54 on their Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart.
She’s also known for appearing on Redman’s 1992 hit “Tonight’s da Night.”
She followed it another Redman song, “Dare Iz a Darkside,” in 1994 while collaborating with Xzibit on the track “At the Speed of Life” before releasing her debut album, All Woman, in 1997.
Hurricane G died on Nov. 6, 2022 at age 52.
