Soccer player Hugo Mbongue for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. He was born in Canada on July 27, 2004. To play in USL League One in 2021, he signed on with Toronto FC II. On May 22, 2021, against North Texas SC, he played his first game for Toronto FC II.

To play in the League1 Ontario Summer Championship in 2021, he signed on with Toronto FC III throughout the summer. In 2022, while watching the first team in preseason, he scored the equalizing goal against Sporting Kansas City in the 89th minute of an exhibition game.

On April 10, he scored twice in MLS Next Pro versus New York City FC II to record his first goal as a legitimate professional. On May 27, he committed to joining Toronto FC II under a professional contract.
