A quarterback for the Purdue Boilermakers in American football, Hudson Card was born on July 29, 2001. He was a highly anticipated four-star prospect from Austin, Texas’ Lake Travis High School. He participated in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game.

As a rookie, Card only got sporadic involvement at Texas; it wasn’t until the start of the 2021 campaign that he was named the starting quarterback during the preseason, losing it to Casey Thompson. He started three games for an injured Quinn Ewers in 2022.

For his junior redshirt season, he transferred to Purdue. Card declared his entrance into the transfer portal on November 29, 2022. On December 26, 2022, Card tweeted his commitment to Purdue.
