Howell Wayans Cause of Death

Howell Wayans, father of the Wayans celebrity family, has been reported dead. No cause of death has been announced yet. Actor Marlon Wayans revealed that his father sadly passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

He had ten children by the time of death. They children are Damon Wayans, Elvira Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Dwayne Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenan Ivory Wayans, Diedre Wayans, Nadia Wayans, Kim Wayans, and Vonnie Wayans.

“Thank you, Pop for being an example of a Man to all of your boys. I pray all young black boys can grow up to a Man like you. Baby boy loves you. And if ever I need you I know exactly where to find you… in my Bible that now sits by the bed,” Marlon Wayans posted on Instagram.

“Rest well. Kiss Ma for me. Tell her her babies miss her. I got two angles. I feel y’all lifting me already. If there’s a heaven I know you sitting in VIP sippin’ the best wine jesus can make…,” he added.

Family members of the Wayans family and other celebrities also shared tributes to the patriarch.

“My Heart is Heavy. I thank God for allowing US to have so many years of love memories and great parents,” Diedre Wayans shared.

“Amen and Rest in Peace Howell Wayans. Thank You JESYS for blessing the Wayans brothers with the gift of comedy and making our hearts laugh through (too) many decades,” Big Brother host, Julie Chen Moonves said.

“My prayers to you and the family my brother (Marlon) rest in peace to ya pops,” Two-time Heavyweight Champion, Riddick Bowe shared.
