Lafayette County sheriff’s deputies found Ally Kostial’s body around 10 a.m. while they were on routine patrol on the north shore of Sardis Lake, about a 30-mile drive from the northern Mississippi campus, CNN affiliate KMOV reported.
Ally Kostial was captured on surveillance video twice in the hours just before her death.
In the first video, she was seen outside a bar called Rooster’s Blues House on the Oxford town square, but she didn’t go inside.

In the second video, there was a recording of Brandon Theesfeld and her together in a market near Harmontown, on the north side of Sardis Lake.
However, Ally Kostial’s roommates told police that she came home around midnight on Friday and that they didn’t realize she had gone out again.
The Memphis TV station HBQ quoted law enforcement sources as saying that Brandon Theesfeld’s clothes appeared to have blood on them, and a weapon was found inside his pickup truck.
