How old was Jeffrey Dahmer when he died?

Jeffrey Dahmer died at the age of 34.

On the morning of November 28, 1994, Dahmer left his cell to conduct his assigned work detail. His two fellow inmates accompanied him. The trio were left unsupervised in the showers of the prison gym for approximately 20 minutes.

During that time, Scarver took a metal bar from the bathroom and attacked Dahmer with it, repeatedly hitting him in the face and head with it, and kicking and stomping him on the back of the head as well.

At approximately 8:10 AM, guards entered the room to find a bloodied Dahmer on the floor; he had been severely bludgeoned about the head and face with a 20-inch (51 centimetres) metal bar.

His head had also repeatedly struck against the wall in the assault. Although Dahmer was still alive and was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead one hour later. Anderson was pronounced dead one hour later.

Anderson had also been beaten with the same instrument and died two days later from his wounds.
