Harmony was five years old when she went missing in early December 2019. However, authorities did not become aware of her disappearance until the autumn of 2021.
In October 2022, her father Adam pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree murder, falsifying physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse.
Authorities claim he strangled his daughter to death. According to police, he repeatedly “struck” Harmony in the head with a “closed fist” before disposing of her body.

Harmony’s biological mother reported to police in November 2021 that she hadn’t seen her daughter in person in quite some time.
Investigators searched an apartment in Manchester where Harmony and her father’s estranged wife once lived in June 2022 and left with a refrigerator in which Harmony’s body was allegedly stored at one point.
Police say the father has refused to answer many of their questions about Harmony’s whereabouts in interviews with detectives since his arrest. He’s scheduled to go on trial for Harmony’s murder in November 2023, according to the Associated Press.
