Ice Spice started her career in 2021 while she was still a college student. Her first song was Bully Freestyle which was released in March of that year.

On August 10, 2022, she released her second song Munch (Feelin’ U’) which became her breakthrough song as it went viral on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram. Her popularity became wider after Drake played her viral song on his SiriusXM radio station, Sound 42.

Munch (Feelin’ U’) debuted on Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Sings and Bubbling Under Hot 100 charts. She also featured on the song One Time by B-Lovee in September 2022.

She began a record-signing deal later that month with 10K Projects and Capitol Records. Ice Spice released another single dubbed Bikini Bottom. 

Her debut EP, Like…? was released on January 20, 2023. She made her Billboard Hot 100 debut with her feature song Gangsta Boo with Lil Tjay. She also featured on Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2 with Pink Pantheress that same month which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
