Who Is Shubman Gill?
Shubman Gill is an international cricketer who plays cricket for Punjab as a right-handed opening batsman.
Born on September 8, 1999, in Fazilka, Punjab, India, Gill began playing for Punjab in 2017, making his first appearance against Vidharbha.

He then went on to play for Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, and Glamorgan.
Gill also played for India’s Under-19 side, serving as vice-captain of the squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup; after winning the Indian U-19 series in 2017, against England.
At the time, Gill was the leading run-scorer for India in the tournament, with 372 runs, averaging 124.00, and being named Player of the Tournament in the end.
In addition, Gill was traded by the Kolkata Knight Riders for $230,000 in an IPL auction, in 2018.
In 2022, Gill scored his first ODI century against Zimbabwe at Harare, and was named India’s Premier League champion.
