How much money does the winner of Roland Garros get in 2022?

The French Open, the year’s second Grand Slam major, began on May 22 with the world’s greatest players squaring off on the clay surface at Roland-Garros in Paris.

In addition to the La Coupe des Mousquetaires (men’s singles champion) or the Suzanne-Lenglen cup (women’s singles champion), competitors will share in an increased prize money pool in 2022  after COVID-19 saw the total purse decline in 2020 and 2021.

The total purse for the French Open 2022 is $66.80 million (€43.60 million). It’s a roughly $6 million increase over last year’s total prize money.
