Nick Taylor won the $1,620,000 winner’s share of the $9,000,000 purse. He was the first Canadian citizen to win the Canadian Open since 1954, and the firstborn in Canada since 1914.
“I’m speechless,” an emotional Taylor said on CBS. “This is for all the guys that are here. This is for my family at home. I’m very speechless. This is the most incredible feeling ever.”

Taylor has now won three Tour titles. His most recent victory came at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2020. Nick Taylor gained significant recognition in 2014 when he won the PGA Tour’s Sanderson Farms Championship, becoming the first Canadian to win on the PGA Tour since 2007. Taylor has continued to compete on the PGA Tour and has achieved consistent performances over the years.
