Who Is Dan Sullivan?

Dan Sullivan is a junior United States senator from Alaska and a member of the Republican Party.

Born on November 13, 1964, in Ohio, Sullivan bagged his first degree in economics at Harvard University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University.

Before he ventured into politics, Sullivan had a thriving legal career in commercial and corporate law, and is a member of the Alaska bar.

Sullivan has served as commissioner of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, and Alaska Attorney General.

During the George Bush administration; he served in the National Economic Council, the National Security Council and became Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs at the time.

During the 2014 election, Sullivan ran for the U.S. Senate seat and won the Republican primary, and in 2020, he was re-elected for the same position.
