According to Forbes, Pegula’s fortune has increased by approximately $2 billion in the last two years. His net worth was $4.9 billion in October 2019.
Pegula, a Penn State alumnus, had early success after launching East Resources in 1983 with $7,500 in loans. In 2010, the oil and gas company sold the majority of its assets for $4.7 billion.
