Jorginho cost Chelsea around £50m when he joined from Napoli in 2018. He played as a midfielder for the Premier League club Chelsea.

Jorginho was part of the Italy squad which won UEFA Euro 2020 and was named in the Team of the Tournament for his performances.

In the 2020–21 season, Jorginho scored Chelsea’s first goal of the season from the penalty spot in an eventual 3–1 league win against Brighton & Hove Albion on 14 September at Falmer Stadium.
