Herschel Walker is a former American football running back who spent 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).

Herschel Walker played for the Dallas Cowboys, Minnesota Vikings, New Jersey Generals, New York Giants, and Philadelphia Eagles from 1983 to 1997.

Walker run for 13,787 yards on 3,097 attempts in his career, scoring 115 rushing touchdowns. Walker was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.

Walker is the only player in history to have accumulated 4,000 yards in three different ways: rushing, receiving, and kickoff returns. He is one of only a few players to have more than 60 rushing touchdowns and 20 receiving touchdowns.

He is the only NFL player to have a 90-yard reception, a 90-yard run, and a 90-yard kickoff return all in the same season (1994).

He is the only player in NFL history to have both an 84-yard touchdown run and an 84-yard touchdown reception in the same game (December 14, 1986). That day, he had 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving.
