Kellogg’s holds a Royal Warrant from Queen Elizabeth II and the Prince of Wales. Kellogg’s became the world’s second-largest snack food company behind PepsiCo in 2012 when it paid $2.7 billion in cash to Procter & Gamble for the potato crisps brand Pringles.

Kellogg’s stock has been split up 5 times.  K’s first break occurred on January 28, 1986. This was a two-for-one split, which meant that for every share of K owned before the split, the shareholder now owned two shares.

Kellogs’s second split happened on August 21, 1970,  the third split was on April 30, 1973, the fourth split was on December 17, 1991,  and the final split was on August 25, 1997
