Roger Thomas Staubach is a former American professional football quarterback who played for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons.

Roger Staubach made made four Super Bowl appearances of which he won two. He led the Cowboys to Super Bowl VI and Super Bowl XII victories.
Staubach was named Super Bowl VI’s Most Valuable Player, becoming the first of four players to win both the Heisman Trophy and the Super Bowl MVP, joining Jim Plunkett, Marcus Allen, and Desmond Howard.

Staubach finished his 11-year NFL career with 1,685 completions for 22,700 yards, 153 touchdowns, and 109 interceptions. On 410 carries, he gained 2,264 yards and scored 21 touchdowns.
He had a.750 winning percentage in regular-season games. Staubach had the highest passer rating in the NFL four times (1971, 1973, 1978, 1979) and led the league in touchdown passes with 23 in 1973.
Roger Staubach was named to the Pro Bowl six times. Until his retirement in 2018, he was the executive chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Americas region. He is regarded as one of the all-time great quarterbacks.
