Mozart had four siblings. Two of them died in infancy, while his surviving siblings were Maria Anna (Nannerl), who was a talented musician and often performed with him, and Johann Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus (Johann Baptist), who was born when Mozart was three years old.

Mozart was an influential composer of the Classical period whose composition resulted in more than 800 works of virtually every genre of his time.
Mozart’s father, Leopold Mozart, was a composer and music teacher who recognized his son’s talent at an early age and devoted himself to his son’s musical education.

Mozart’s early career was spent in Salzburg, where he worked as a court musician for the Archbishop of Salzburg. However, he was unhappy with his position and longed for greater artistic freedom.
Mozart also composed many symphonies, including the “Jupiter Symphony” (1788), and chamber music, such as the “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (1787).
In Milan, Mozart wrote the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto (1770). From 1782 to 1785 Mozart mounted concerts with himself as a soloist, presenting three or four new piano concertos in each season.
