Mozart and his wife, Maria Constanze Cäcilia Josepha Johanna Aloysia Mozart, had six children, but only two survived infancy. The surviving children were Karl Thomas Mozart and Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart. There is no record of any of Mozart’s children surviving to adulthood.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period whose composition resulted in more than 800 works of virtually every genre of his time.
Mozart’s early career was spent in Salzburg, where he worked as a court musician for the Archbishop of Salzburg. However, he was unhappy with his position and longed for greater artistic freedom.

In Milan, Mozart wrote the opera Mitridate, re di Ponto (1770). From 1782 to 1785 Mozart mounted concerts with himself as a soloist, presenting three or four new piano concertos in each season.
Mozart’s most famous works include the operas “The Marriage of Figaro” (1786), “Don Giovanni” (1787), and “The Magic Flute” (1791).
