How many of Ewan McGregor’s kids are adopted?

The Moulin Rouge actor and his production designer wife have two biological daughters, Clara, 15, and Esther, 9, as well as Jamaican, 9, who they adopted from Mongolia in 2006. No details are known yet about the latest addition to the McGregor clan, other than she is a four-month-old girl.

Unbeknown to his fans, Ewan McGregor became a proud father of five in June 2021, as three of his adult daughters broke the news via Instagram photos that they had a new baby half-brother. Ewan became a first-time dad at the age of 25 when his then-wife Eve Mavrakis gave birth to their oldest child, Clara, in February 1996. She has followed in her dad’s footsteps, becoming an actress.
