Bobby Flay has not been awarded any Michelin stars. His second Mesa Grill restaurant in Las Vegas was awarded one star in 2008 but unfortunately did not retain it in the 2009 Michelin Guide.

Michelin stopped publishing their Las Vegas edition after 2009, so Flay was unable to win it back. Bobby Flay is best known for his frequent appearances on the cable station Food Network, where he first garnered attention as one of the original competitors on Iron Chef America.

In his earlier stages, Bobby Flay held several more jobs in New York City, including one under restaurateur Jonathan Waxman. Bobby Flay opened Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) in Lake Grove, Long Island, on July 15, 2008, at the Smith Haven Mall.
In 1991, Bobby Flay opened his first restaurant, Mesa Grill. Two years later he won the James Beard Foundation’s Rising Star Chef of the Year award.
In November 1993, Bobby Flay launched Bolo, a fine-dining Spanish restaurant. In 2014, Bobby Flay opened Gato, a Spanish- and Mediterranean-inflected restaurant to replace Bolo.
