Kelvin Kiptum has run three marathons. Kiptum’s marathon journey began on December 4, 2022, in Valencia, Spain.

In his debut marathon, he achieved something extraordinary. With an astonishing closing half of 60:15, Kiptum not only secured victory but also set a new course record with a time of 2:01:53.

Kiptum’s next challenge took him to the world-renowned London Marathon on April 23, 2023. In a race that saw him push the boundaries of human endurance, Kiptum secured a decisive victory.

Although he fell just 16 seconds short of the world record, he set the second-fastest marathon time in history with an incredible mark of 2:01:25.

This extraordinary accomplishment shattered the previous world record of 2:01:09 set by Eliud Kipchoge at the 2022 Berlin Marathon and etched Kiptum’s name in the annals of marathon history.
