In an interview, Stevens mentioned that he studied French in school and has used it in some of his roles.
He played the role of an American diplomat in the French film “Vox Lux” which required him to speak French fluently. He also played a French character in the stage production of “The Heiress” in London’s West End.
Additionally, Stevens has played the role of a Russian in the stage production “The Caretaker,” which required him to speak Russian lines.
However, it is not known if he is fluent in the language or if he had a language coach to help him with the pronunciation.

Stevens co-starred with Harrison Ford in The Call of the Wild, which was released on February 21, 2020. The film is based on Jack London’s American classic novel of the same name. He also wrote and starred in “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga,” a 2020 film.
