Sometimes a game could be shortened when the home team needs at least one fraction of its 7th inning or 1 team is leading by 10 runs after 5 innings.
An inning consists of each team tugging it out and playing defense in the field, with the visiting team starting the game.
When the home team scores three outs during their turn, it’s game over.
