Guinness World Record holder Neil Sedaka has written more than 500 songs, including collaborations with other lyricists like Howard “Howie” Greenfield and Phil Cody.

Some of his early hits include “Oh! Carol”, “Calendar Girl”, “Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen”, “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do”, “Laughter in the Rain” and “Bad Blood”.
He additionally wrote songs such as “Stupid Cupid” (Connie Francis), “Love Will Keep Us Together” (Captain & Tennille), and “(Is This the Way to) Amarillo” (Tony Christie), which won him the Guinness World Records for “the most successful UK single of the 21st century.”
