Every season in F1 has a different number of GPs. The Formula 1 season has become longer and longer in recent years, and the 2022 calendar is set to be the biggest yet, with 23 races scheduled to go ahead. The possibility also exists that this could be extended in years to come.

The 2021 Formula One calendar featured a record-breaking 22 Grands Prix staged across the world. The season began on March 28 with the opening round in Bahrain and concluded on December 12 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

After 2020, the F1 calendar returned to a more traditional shape, however, the regular-season start in Australia was shifted back to November 21.
The Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy will take teams to Europe for the first time on April 18. The Dutch Grand Prix is returned after being postponed in 2020, with the race planned for September 5th.
Bahrain International Circuit has six layouts, though the 5.412km “Grand Prix” circuit with 15 corners has been used for all but one of the 15 races held to date
