Silva initially embarked on his footballing journey at FC Porto before a brief stint with rivals Benfica in 2015, followed by a triumphant return two years later. His prowess on the pitch became evident when he contributed to the squad’s victory in the 2018–19 UEFA Youth League. By February 2019, Silva’s tally of 20 goals in 26 games for the under-19 team caught the attention of then-manager Sérgio Conceição, leading to his training with the first team.

Making his Primeira Liga debut for Porto on August 10, 2019, Silva etched his name in history by becoming the youngest player, at 17 years and 22 days, to feature in a league match for the club. His impact wasn’t limited to domestic matches; Silva’s talent shone in European competitions as well. On September 19, during a UEFA Europa League group stage match against Young Boys, he became Porto’s youngest player in European tournaments, surpassing Rúben Neves. Just six days later, he set another record by becoming the youngest player to start a match in any competition for Porto, breaking a record that had stood since 1960.

Silva’s goal-scoring prowess was evident when, on October 19, he scored his first goal for Porto in a 5–0 victory against Coimbrões in the Taça de Portugal. With this achievement, he eclipsed Rúben Neves’ record and became the youngest goal scorer in the club’s history by a margin of just a month. His ascendancy continued as he notched up more records, including being Porto’s youngest league goal scorer in a 3–0 win over Famalicão.

In November 2020, Silva further solidified his place in Porto’s history by becoming the youngest starter in the club’s history during the Derby da Invicta, a game against Boavista that ended with a 1–0 victory for Porto. His journey took a brief detour as he played for Porto’s reserve team in LigaPro, showcasing his adaptability and versatility on the field.

Silva’s talents were not overlooked during a challenging period for the sports world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As Porto clinched the league title following the resumption of matches, Silva made two more appearances for the first team, contributing to the club’s triumphant campaign.

Now, in the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Silva continues to captivate fans with his skills, determination, and goal-scoring prowess. As the young forward aims to make his mark in a new league and create even more records, football enthusiasts around the world eagerly await his next chapter on the pitch.
