Kelly Smith is a former British footballer who played as a forward for Arsenal Ladies.
Born on October 29, 1978, in Watford, United Kingdom, Kelly attended Seton Hall University, where she played football professionally with Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) franchise Philadelphia Charge.

She played at the 2007 UEFA Women’s Cup win, and spent some time playing for the Boston Breakers in Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS).
Kelly recorded 117 caps for England’s national team and is the country’s second-highest goalscorer, having scored 46 goals.
She also represented Britain at the 2012 London Olympics.
Kelly has been in several editions of the UEFA Women’s Championship, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, and the China Cup.
For three consecutive years, she was voted FIFA Women’s World Player of the Year.
In 2014, Kelly made her television debut on FOX Sports and later served as a commentator for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
