Lachie Neale is an Australian rules footballer and the co-captain of the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL).

As of this writing, Lachie Neale has won two Brownlow Medals. He was awarded the Brownlow Medal in 2020 for his outstanding performance in the Australian Football League (AFL) during that season.
Lachie Neale won his second Brownlow Medal after again polling 31 votes in 2023. The Brownlow Medal is one of the highest individual honors in the AFL and is presented annually to the league’s best and fairest player as voted on by the umpires.

Lachie Neale began his AFL career with the Fremantle Dockers in 2012 before joining the Brisbane Lions in a trade deal ahead of the 2019 season.
He quickly became one of the team’s star players and was known for his exceptional ball-winning ability and skills in the midfield.
In 2019, Neale excelled at his new club, being named to the All-Australian squad for the first time and winning his first Merrett-Murray Medal.
Neale had yet another successful season in 2022, winning a third All-Australian blazer and a third Merrett-Murray Medal, as well as finishing second in the Brownlow Medal by a single vote.
