During this time, he faced criticism for making controversial and inaccurate statements, including the disputed claim about the crowd size at Trump’s inauguration. After leaving the White House, Spicer took on new challenges. He published a memoir titled “The Briefing: Politics, the Press, and the President,” providing insights into his time with the Trump administration. In an unexpected turn, Spicer became a contestant on season 28 of Dancing with the Stars in 2019. His participation sparked debate, with some criticizing ABC News for featuring him on the show.
Spicer’s foray into entertainment continued with the launch of his political talk show, Spicer & Co., on Newsmax TV in March 2020. However, the show faced an untimely end in April 2023 when Spicer and co-host Lyndsay Keith departed from Newsmax.
