Lewis Dunk joined Brighton in 2003. He has played for them for almost 13 years now. On 30 April 2010, Dunk signed a two-year professional contract with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Lewis Dunk is uncapped for England at the youth level. Lewis Dunk made his debut on 15 November 2018 playing in the whole match in England’s 3–0 win over the United States at Wembley Stadium.

This made him the the fourth Brighton player to earn a senior England cap, and the first since Steve Foster in 1982.

Lewis Dunk made his first appearance of the season, starting the whole game, in a 1–1 draw against Tranmere Rovers on 2 October 2010.
Lewis Dunk scored two consecutive goals in two matches between 5 April 2016 and 11 April 2016 against Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest.
On 17 March 2019, Lewis Dunk played the entirety of Brighton’s 2–2 draw against Millwall in the FA Cup sixth-round.
Lewis Dunk made his 300th appearance for The Seagulls in a 3–0 home defeat against Manchester United on 30 June.
