Lee commenced playing pool in 1989 but turned pro in 1991.

She has won over 30 national and international titles.

Lee owns an American Poolplayers Association franchise in Tampa.

She could nab sponsorships that had nothing to do with billiards, chalk or cues — including a 7-year deal with Bass Pro Shops.

Jeanette Lee was inducted into the Billiard Congress of America Hall of Fame in 2013.

In February 2021, Lee announced that she had been diagnosed with stage IV terminal ovarian cancer.

Jeanette Lee is currently in remission from her cancer, hence she is doing well.

Friends of Jeanette Lee in a statement shared by azbilliards.com in May 2022 said; “In the spring of 2021, Jeanette underwent a very aggressive regimen of six separate chemotherapy sessions. The chemo was rigorous and Jeanette fought through them all and successfully completed the regimen last summer. The great news is that the chemotherapy was extremely successful”.

“For all the patients that successfully complete this chemotherapy, Jeanette’s results against her cancer were in the top 5%! The chemotherapy did its job”, the statement read.
