Mark Consuelos had a starring role in the educational serial Connect With English. In 2006, Consuelos appeared in the movies My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Wedding Daze.

In 2013, Mark Consuelos co-starred as Florida Senator Andy Guzman in Amazon’s Alpha House, a political comedy in which he plays one of four Republican senators living together in a house on Capitol Hill.

Mark Consuelos appeared on the Lifetime series Missing, with actress Vivica A. Fox and had also played a part in Ugly Betty. Consuelos portrayed the recurring character Spivey in American Horror Story: Asylum.
In 2012, Mark Consuelos guest-starred on an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit titled “Justice Denied” where he took on the role of Michael. Consuelos has starred in the feature film The Great Raid, which debuted in theatres in 2005.
