  • Frequent bathing or hand washing that can remove the moisture from your skin.

Xeroderma can be prevented and treated by using moisturizers or emollients that can hydrate and protect your skin. You should also avoid using products that can irritate your skin, such as alcohol, fragrances, or dyes.

You should also limit your exposure to sun and wear sunscreen when going outside. You should also drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet that contains essential nutrients for your skin.
